An oil or gasoline spill can ruin the environment and your day. Be proactive - Take Action. Swim a Honu turtle at your marina or dock.

Honu is a sensor that detects hydrocarbon pollution in water. Honu continuously tracks both background hydrocarbons and when a problem occurs. With a Nanu network controller, up to 32 Honu units can be networked to provide wide area coverage- even helping to determine the location of a release.

Honu works by sensing hydrocarbons chemically. Every Honu has a sensing disc that contacts the water. No expensive reagents are needed as Honu continuously monitors this disc for hydrocarbons - both background from normal boat traffic and when spills occur from something such as a boat bilge or fuel tank. When it detects a problem, it can sound a horn or, if internet is available, send an email or text message. Checking Honu is easy on your PC, tablet or phone through the web-browser interface.

Simple to install, your Honu system comes ready-to-go. So don't crawl into
your shell - Be proactive and install a Honu system today.
